Hollow hold
Core · Building · in seconds held
Why it helps your running
Core strength that keeps your pelvis tucked under fatigue: the posture that holds up late in a race.
- You'll need
- nothing: just your bodyweight
How to do it
- On your back, lift your shoulders and straight legs, lower back pressed into the floor.
- Arms along your sides, or stretched overhead to make it harder.
- The lower the legs, the harder it gets: keep them at a height where your back stays glued down.
Common mistakes
- Lower back lifts off: your legs are too low.
- Chin tips up toward the ceiling and your neck tenses up.
