Runner Strength Training

Toe walk

Mobility · Learning · in seconds held

Why it helps your running

Wakes up your calves and the small foot muscles, the ones that push you forward with every stride.

You'll need
nothing: just your bodyweight

How to do it

  1. Rise as high as you can onto your toes and walk forward in small steps.
  2. Stay tall with stable ankles, never letting your heels drop back down.
  3. Keep your knees straight but not locked.

Common mistakes

  • Ankles rolling outward.
  • Heels dropping back down between steps.

Strength work, built into your plan.

Your coach picks your movements, their sets and tempo, and slots them into your week — with a guided session, minute by minute.
