Runner Strength Training

High knees

Mobility · Learning · in seconds held

Why it helps your running

Wakes up your hip flexors and cadence before you run or push hard.

You'll need
nothing: just your bodyweight

How to do it

  1. Drive the knee up to hip height, foot lands under you.
  2. Stay tall, eyes on the horizon.
  3. Arms work like when you run, elbows at 90°.

Common mistakes

  • Leaning your torso back to get the knee up.
  • Landing on your heels instead of staying on the forefoot.

Strength work, built into your plan.

Your coach picks your movements, their sets and tempo, and slots them into your week — with a guided session, minute by minute.
