Why it helps your running

Teaches your foot to land under your body and your knee to drive up: the mechanics of a stride that pushes.

You'll need
nothing: just your bodyweight

How to do it

  1. Skip forward: one knee drives up to hip height while the other foot bounces once off the ground.
  2. The landing foot claws the ground under your hips, on the forefoot.
  3. Arms work in opposition, elbows at 90°, chest tall.

Common mistakes

  • Leaning your torso back to lift the knee.
  • Foot landing in front of your body and braking.
  • Arms crossing in front of your chest.

Strength work, built into your plan.

Your coach picks your movements, their sets and tempo, and slots them into your week — with a guided session, minute by minute.
